TriPOLIS – a new PSEZ project

On 17 November 2017, the Marshals Mieczysław Struk and Wiesław Byczkowski signed an agreement with the Vice President of Gdynia Katarzyna Gruszecka-Spychała for co-financing the TriPOLIS project in the Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Area, which the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone will implement together with the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park and the Economic Foundation.

TriPOLIS is a project of collaboration of business incubators and science and technology parks operating in the Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Area, which will focus on four areas of activity. An integrated system of identification and analysis of needs will be implemented. As part of the infrastructure development, activities related to the construction of IT platforms, modernization of equipment and preparation of the team of partners for the implementation of new services will be undertaken.

The TriPOLIS project is designed for companies operating as part of business incubators and science and technology parks, and is co-financed in the amount of almost PLN 5.5 million from the Regional Operational Programme of the Pomeranian Voivodeship for the years 2014–2020. The value of the entire project is nearly PLN 8 million. The end of the project is scheduled for May 2020.
